CANNING FUNDRAISER: This weekend pixelPRESERVE will conduct a fundraising event in cooperation with the Yates County Arts Council. People are invited to bring any and all their photo prints which they want converted to digital form. Saturday, May 22 from 10 am to 4 pm at Yates County Arts Center, 119 E. Elm Street in Penn Yan. 5/4/10 pixelPRESERVE and Lumiere Photo are proud to co-sponsor Portfolio Showcase 2010, along with Image City Photo Gallery who is hosting the competition for the second year. Eight winning portfolios will be selected by four noted jurors. pixelPRESERVE will award each winner two hardbound, limited edition copies of the exhibition catalogue. 4/7/10 We just completed a major book order for Nanette Nocon, the self-published author of a new children's book. What's Up with Yuk? – brilliantly illustrated by John Kastner – is about making good choices vs. bad ones. This full-color, hard cover volume is a great example of our excellent book production.
